What authors say
"Rae went way above and beyond what I expected in her work on my Young Adult fantasy novel. The comments throughout the text and the four-page report gave me many constructive suggestions to consider, but above all, Rae is ENCOURAGING, revealing her genuine enthusiasm and expertise in writing for children and young people."

"Rae is a superb editor and cheerleader for children's fiction. I have greatly enjoyed our back-and-forth discussions about my work, content and planning, structure, pay-offs and clues, and all the elements of writing for children, both magical and mechanical. I highly recommend Rae to any writer of children's fiction."

"Wow! Thank you SO much for putting so much time into the report and the editing. It's so very useful. The way that you've gone through the story in the five acts and then put notes under subheadings is a clear way of taking on information."

Bio
My name is Rae Campling. I have been writing middle grade children's books for many years. I'm a member of SCBWI and have run a critique group for 5 years, gaining valuable experience at editing. It was a privilege and joy to complete the Golden Egg Academy 12 month course in writing for Children and Young Adults. It gave me many tools to work as a writer and editor. As an ex primary school teacher with over 30 years experience, I know what children love to read - a vital insight for editing your work to fit the market.
